Culturally speaking, society places more value on a married person than on an unmarried person.

You may argue until eternity but you can’t explain away the relevance of marriage by any standards.

Because we are not a generation that thinks deep enough, we tend to celebrate shallow success than substance.

We call career success, business breakthrough, and the likes, an achievement but don’t rate marriage and healthy relationship as an achievement.

Let me challenge you a bit.

Have you noticed that it’s easier for most people to climb to the top of their career and keep a job than to keep a relationship/marriage?

That’s because the most tasking business is the marriage enterprise. That’s why some people can be brave to do other great things but are afraid to settle down.

If you are married, please, I urge you to protect your achievement.

Don’t treat your marriage as a mistake or as nothing. You don’t know what it has taken you to live with one person for the number of years you have lived as man and wife.

Even if you got married by accident or mistake, intentionally build your home. It’s your achievement in life or call it, your LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT.

Stop listening to celebrities who don’t know the value of family life. Don’t allow social media “influenzas” to deceive you into believing that marriage is a limitation or a cage of some sort.

Protect your marriage and your relationships. Give it your best. We all are a product of marriages. The only achievement of most of our parents.

Don’t allow business, friends and trends to make you look down on what you have laboured for year’s to build.

Marriage is an achievement. Even the Bible’s tells us that for a person to be a bishop, he must have first achieved a pass in his marriage.

Marriage is a lifetime business where you share your life with your spouse and your children. It is more profitable than any business on earth.

If you think that marriage is not an achievement, here are some of the costs of starting a marriage enterprise:

🔸 Proverbs 24:27 (GNT) “Don’t build your house and establish a home until your fields are ready, and you are sure that you can earn a living.”

🔸 Matthew 19:11-12 (MSG) “But Jesus said, “Not everyone is mature enough to live a married life. It requires a certain aptitude and grace. Marriage isn’t for everyone. Some, from birth seemingly, never give marriage a thought. Others never get asked—or accepted. And some decide not to get married for kingdom reasons. But if you’re capable of growing into the largeness of marriage, do it.”
